Dr. Frances M. Jones, DDS, MAGD
With more than 20 years of experience in dentistry and a Master
of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Frances Jones has devoted her life to providing the highest quality
of dental care for her patients. Approximately 1,000 dentists in the United States currently hold the
distinction of being a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, a title awarded to only the most dedicated
dentists to continuing to keep abreast of the most up-to-date technologies in dentistry. Dr. Jones has
completed more than 2,500 hours of continuing education in the field of dentistry with a strong emphasis on
cosmetic dentistry. Most recently, Dr. Jones was named in the 2003-2004 Guide to America’s Top Dentists by
the Consumer Research Council of America.
In addition to practicing general dentistry and meeting the needs of everyday dental
requirements, Dr. Jones practices cosmetic dentistry for her patients. With treatments like veneers, whitening,
implants, complete mouth reconstruction, teeth straightening, as well as Invisalign, she has the experience and
education that leaves patients with the perfect smile. She has a level two certification for Invisalign, the most
advanced level of training offered. Her husband, attorney Woody Holland proudly boasts, "The quality of dentistry
that she provides to her patients is, without a doubt, the best available."
Dr. Jones is also schooled in pain management, with such state-of-the-art technologies as air
and abrasion micro dentistry and the option of using laughing gas during procedures. "We are very caring and
concerned for our patients and their feelings," she says. The doctor and staff are fully aware of your needs and
concerns and strive every day to fulfill your dental desires. "My success is measured by the beautiful smiles that
I see on my patients when their treatments are complete," she says.
Dr. Jones is a member of the American, Texas and Greater Houston Dental Associations, the Texas
Academy of General Dentistry, the Houston Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry. She is a fellow and master of the Academy of General Dentistry and a member of the Psi Omega dental
fraternity. She is an active member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, as well as a Sunday school teacher
there, and on the alumni board for the University of Virginia. She has volunteered for many different charities
throughout Houston with the Junior League, Museum of Health and Sciences, the Houston Ballet and the Museum of
Natural Sciences in addition to other organizations. She also volunteers extensively at St. John’s School, where
her nine year old son, John Michael, attends.
